Bob Alejo was the conditioning coach for the Oakland Athletics for nine seasons (1993-2001) during which time the A's were 2000 Western Division Champions and the 2001 Wild Card team.

Prior to the A's, he was a conditioning coach at UCLA from 1984-1993, involved with 23 men's and women's teams. During his tenure, UCLA racked up 25 national and 14 conference championships and produced more than 50 All-Americans.

Bob is also the author of numerous training articles and contributor to several books - most recent being "Complete Conditioning for Soccer from Human Kinetics."

Bob also has worked for U.S. Volleyball, U.S. Soccer, is a Level-I U.S. Weightlifting Federation coach and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certification Commission. Additionally, Coach Alejo is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and The International Society of Sports Nutrition.
